Dubai British School (DBS) offers the English National Curriculum, and is open to students, girls and boys, aged from three to eighteen years of age (Foundation to Year 13). According to their latest audit it is currently home to 1,096 students aged from 3 to 18>  The largest single nationality, as the name implies, is British, making up 66% of the current student population. That said, like all schools in the UAE, DBS offers a very multicultural environment, with 58 nationalities represented amongst the student population of the school.

Taking care of the students are 83 full time teachers, including the Principal, and a senior leadership team (this is a slight reduction in numbers over last year). The school also has 35 teaching assistants including two full time nurses, a doctor, a primary counsellor and a secondary counsellor.

Approximately 10 percent of students have been identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN). The SEN department has currently 3 teachers.

The school is located in new Dubai, in Springs 3, Emirates Hills. It is very conveniently located, on a lovely, tree-lined street, behind the busy shopping complex.  I
