Welcome to GEMS International School-Al Khail!

GEMS International School Al Khail is an established KG to Grade 9 (from September 2015) international school within the GEMS network of award winning schools, providing a high quality progression in the International Baccalaureate curriculum from the primary years and upward, with the IB Diploma Program arriving in successive years.

With over 90 different nationalities, GEMS International School Al Khail prides itself on its strong multicultural community, bringing together students and teachers of all different nationalities and promoting Global Citizenship as one of our core values. GEMS International School offers the International Baccalaureate Organization’s (IBO) Primary Years and Middle Years Programs, wherein our students explore from a young age about the multicultural environment and a greater global community, which is reinforced in IB learning throughout their school career.

GEMS International School is committed to developing all of its students to possess self-confidence and self-discipline along with a deep understanding and appreciation of international co-operation and responsible citizenship. As a school, we are committed to digital citizenship, and foster a Bring Your Own Device Program, as well as dedicated Digital Learning Coaches who implement technology into the classroom and find out ways how technology can assist, enhance and differentiate learning.

The International School will provide all students with opportunities for success, whilst, at the same time, preparing those who so choose to gain admission into the university, or post-secondary institution of their choice. Some facilities of our school include bright, modern and spacious classrooms, 2 gymnasia, 2 swimming pools, excellent sports facilities and dance and drama studios.

You are more than welcome to visit our school to see what we have to offer your child. We believe that by enrolling at GEMS International School, Al Khail, we can establish a partnership committed to the best possible outcomes for your child.
